Glenn R. Mehner, CPA/ABV/PFS/CFF
Glenn Mehner is a financial forensics specialist with more than 30 years of experience in business consulting, forensic accounting, general accounting and financial services. Glenn is a highly sought after expert witness with a record of success testifying in courts throughout Southern California, including: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Long Beach, Norwalk and Pasadena.
Glenn’s certifications and affiliations are numerous; beginning with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University, he has been a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California since 1986, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Glenn is a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).
Owning his own Certified Public Accounting firm was a natural progression for Glenn as his breadth of experience in the financial and accounting fields is vast. From his beginning days at a “Big 6” firm in the audit division to providing investment banking services for small to closely held corporations at private financial services firm, to becoming a Principal at Warnick & Duckworth and providing a wide range of accounting, tax, business & forensic accounting services to a wide variety of industries. Then in 1995 Glenn became co-founder of Duckworth and Mehner, LLP and in 1998 Glenn also co-founded the investment advisory firm Duckworth Mehner Private Wealth Advisors, Inc. As co-owner of these two firms, Glenn concentrated his practice in litigation support, business valuations, financial planning, expert witness testimony and family law issues. In 2013 Glenn became principal and owner of Mehner Certified Public Accountants – continuing his reputation of excellence in the field of forensic and business accounting and building a team that supports his vision and legacy of excellence.
Outside of work, Glenn can be found attending his kids sporting and family events, fundraising and organizing events to raise money and awareness for cancer with Relay for Life and serving as a volunteer youth leader for his Church.
Irene Udo, CPA
Senior Litigation Manager
Irene Udo received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California and earned a Master of Accounting, with a consulting emphasis, from the University of Southern California. Irene has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California since 1996. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
As a senior litigation manager, Irene directs, supervises and facilitates the communication between Mehner CPAs, the client and attorney – ensuring progress towards settlement or trial. Irene is also a qualified expert witness in the Orange County Superior Family Law Court system.
Irene began her career at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP). Since then she has enjoyed a variety of forensic accounting experiences such as family law services, litigation support, insurance claims accounting and investigation services. Irene’s fluency in Spanish allowed her to travel to South America, the Caribbean and Mexico addressing various insurance claims. With over 20 years of accounting industry experience, Irene has thrived from the profession’s wide array of specialties.
During 2011 – 2013, Irene was involved with a grassroots organization called, “Hope for the Hills” which fought Southern California Edison’s installation of eighteen, 200 foot towers (carrying 500,000 volts) next to several neighborhoods within the quaint community of Chino Hills. As a representative for “Hope for the Hills,” Irene spoke before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) on several occasions. In an unprecedented ruling, the CPUC reversed their decision and ordered Edison to dismantle the towers and reroute the lines underground. This will be the first 500KV underground project in the United States.
Family is a priority in Irene’s life and she enjoys nurturing their growth and happiness. Irene has been a Board Member for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).

Gloria Fernandez, CPA/CFF
Senior Litigation Manager
Gloria Fernandez received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from California State University at Fullerton. Gloria is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). With over 20 years experience in public accounting, Gloria’s knowledge base includes business and tax consulting, financial planning and a wide range of accounting and forensic accounting services.
From Gloria’s early days of working with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, to her contributions as a CPA at other accounting firms, Gloria has vast knowledge of accounting and litigation support services such as: business valuations of manufacturing, retail, wholesale and services businesses in a wide range of industries; numerous family law issues associated with property division, stock option exercise planning, divorce tax planning and child and spousal support; income tax preparation for closely held entities and high net worth individuals, as well as representation before Federal and State taxing authorities. Gloria is also a qualified expert witness in the Orange County Superior Family Law Court system.
Gloria enjoys the problem solving that forensic accounting provides. Her immense expertise and critical eye allow her to draw sound conclusions when there are gaps of information, as well as create a narrative with the financial history provided with the intent of working towards a solution that can allow our clients to move on and start anew. Gloria also excels at staff and client education. Typically this is a new experience for our clients and Gloria helps instruct and navigate our clients through the process, as well as keeping our staff informed of the latest techniques and trends in the forensic accounting industry.
Michael D. Davis, CPA/ABV
Michael Davis received his Master of Accounting from Brigham Young University and has been a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California since 2010. Michael is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is also a member of the AICPA, as well as the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
As a manager at Mehner Certified Public Accountants, Michael oversees and performs a variety of forensic accounting services with an emphasis in family law, including: business valuation, income available for support, perquisite analysis and Moore-Marsden analysis. Michael is also a qualified expert witness in the Orange County Superior Family Court system.
What Michael enjoys most about forensic accounting is providing efficient solutions in complex and heated disputes. He enjoys constantly refining his expertise and seeking better ways to educate staff and present information to clients, attorneys and judges.
Previous to joining Mehner CPAs, Michael was a senior associate in the audit division of KPMG, LLP. At KPMG Michael provided services primarily to small, closely held corporations, publicly held corporations and institutions of higher learning.

Roxanne M. Niksch, CPA
Roxanne Niksch has been a part of the Mehner CPA family since 2007. Roxanne graduated Magna cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Chapman University. Roxanne is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
Roxanne enjoys Forensic Accounting specifically, because of the diverse issues she is exposed to in Family Law. From controllable cash flow, tracing of assets, business valuations, and marital balance sheets, Roxanne is able to apply her accounting acumen to help clients work towards a resolution.
Ben Nguyen received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Cal State Fullerton. The opportunities, stability and demand of the accounting profession are what attracted him to this field of study. Ben continues to be a student of accounting and is working towards his CPA while enjoying the challenges and nuances that forensic accounting provides. As a Staff Accountant, Ben focuses primarily on business valuation, income available for support, post-separation analysis, stock option analysis, and community balance sheets. Ben’s ability to communicate his findings and share his data with CPA manager, client and attorney are a valuable resource when working toward a settlement or preparing for a hearing.
Prior to joining Mehner CPAs, Ben worked for 8 years as a senior accountant at a private asset management firm in Orange County.
Christine Lockhart attended Brigham Young University and has worked for Glenn Mehner, intermittently, over the last several years. As a Staff Accountant, Christine provides support to our CPA managers by organizing documents and preparing reports for trial or settlement purposes. Christine’s varied experience at Mehner CPA’s makes her a valuable resource for our clients and accounting team.
Kelly K. Helton
Kelly K. Helton received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah. As a Staff Accountant, she focuses on client and resource management; understanding the “big picture” and recognizing the steps it will take to ensure a positive result for our clients. From income available for support, marital balance sheets, separate property tracing or business valuation, Kelly assists the CPA managers in preparation for trial or settlement conferences and enjoys being a part of an accomplished team of accountants and helping individuals move forward and begin anew.
Bethany Garcia received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance from Cal State Fullerton. As the first point-of-contact of our office, her knowledge, organization and customer relation skills have proved valuable to Mehner CPAs for over the past 3 years. Bethany communicates with both client and attorney to provide up-to-date information regarding hearing dates, meetings and pertinent case information. Bethany also processes client billing and is an assistant to our Office Manager, Saundra Brill.
